Dvi dažnos klaidos
- „Mano telefonas naujas, tai tikrai palaiko.” Ne visada — kai kurie biudžetiniai modeliai (pvz. Samsung A14, Redmi Note baziniai) eSIM neturi. Patikrinkite su *#06#.
- „Telefonas palaiko, bet eSIM neįsideda.” Jei telefonas pirktas su operatoriaus sutartimi, jis gali būti prirakintas (SIM lock) — pasitarkite su operatoriumi dėl atrakinimo.

The 30-second check
iPhone: Settings → Cellular. If you see „Add eSIM” — your phone supports it.
Android: Settings → Connections → SIM manager. If there is „Add eSIM” — it is supported.
Universal: dial *#06# — if you see an EID number on screen, your phone has an eSIM chip.
Apple iPhone
Every model since iPhone XS / XR (2018): XS, XS Max, XR, 11, 11 Pro, SE (2nd and 3rd gen), 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 series. US-market iPhone 14 and newer do not even have a physical SIM slot — eSIM only. Also: iPad Pro (2018+), iPad Air (2019+), iPad mini (2019+).

Two common mistakes
- „My phone is new, so it must support eSIM.” Not always — some budget models (e.g. Samsung A14, base Redmi Notes) lack eSIM. Check with *#06#.
- „The phone supports eSIM but it will not install.” If the phone came with a carrier contract, it may be carrier-locked (SIM lock) — ask your carrier about unlocking.
